Santra (संतरा) is Hindi for the mandarin orange, the fruit Nagpur is known for. Cut one in half and the wheel is already there: segments around a white core.

Good questions
How much is it?
$15 once, or ₹599 in India, after a 7-day free trial with everything included. That covers 2 PCs and a year of updates, and the version you have keeps working after that.
Does anything get uploaded?
No. Every conversion and edit runs on your PC. Santra only goes online to activate your licence key and check it now and then, and to fetch new versions from GitHub if you allow update checks. The privacy policy has the details.
What happens after the trial?
Santra asks for a licence key before it runs a tool. Buy one, paste it in, and carry on. Your files and everything you made stay as they are.
Which Windows does it need?
Windows 10 (version 2004 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. Slides and older Office files also need Microsoft Office or LibreOffice.
Where do the new files go?
Into the same folder as the original, with a new name. The original is never changed, and the new file is selected for you.
How do I uninstall it?
Open Windows Settings, then Apps, then Installed apps, and uninstall Santra. Everything it added goes with it; only your settings stay behind.
Is there a Mac version?
No, Santra is for Windows. On a Mac, Tangerine by Leap Studio, the app that inspired Santra, does the job.
